Kotara Family Practice is open 6 days a week.

Monday to Friday:     8.30am to 5.00pm

Saturday:    8.30am to 12.30pm

Sunday:     CLOSED

Public Holidays:     CLOSED

Emergency Care

At any time during the day or night, if you require urgent or emergency medical assistance you should always call 000 and ask for an ambulance or go directly to your nearest hospital emergency department.

After Hours Care

If you have a less urgent need for medical care outside of KFP opening hours (including evenings, weekends and public holidays) please contact:

NAHMS and Mobile Medic are our nominated after hours care provider. The doctor you see will send a consultation summary to your usual GP who will be able to follow-up with you, as needed.

If you are unsure if you need to see a doctor, you can contact the Health Direct 24-hour triage hotline to speak with a registered nurse who will be able to offer you advice about any health concern you may have. The Health Direct advice line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
