You always have the opportunity to choose your preferred GP when you attend for appointments. However, if you have an urgent need for care and your preferred GP is not available one of our other GPs will be able to assist you. All our GPs work closely together to provide the highest quality care to all patients of the practice.

Dr Tony Isaac
Practice Principal & Owner
Tony is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked as a GP in Newcastle since 2006. Prior to entering General Practice he worked in the fields of Orthopaedics, Occupational Medicine and Nursing. General Practice is Tony's chosen specialty, giving him the opportunity to work closely with his patients, as a team, to assess and manage their overall health. Tony has a special interest in Travel Medicine and Tropical Diseases and has completed post-graduate training in this area. He also has a special interest in orthopedics, paediatrics and educating medical students and GP registrars.
Tony is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and some Saturdays
Dr Flor Soto-Rodriguez - Accepting NEW Patients
Flor completed her medical training in 1997 and moved to Australia in 2007 to complete her General Practice training and earn her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has also completed a post-graduate diploma in Skin Cancer medicine. Flor enjoys all aspects of general practice medicine and working together with patients of all ages, from babies to seniors.
Flor is available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and some Saturdays
Dr Michael Ferguson
Michael completed his medical degree at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and has worked in General Practice for over 30 years. After immigrating to Australia in 1978, Michael's background has included surgery and obstetrics, but he particularly enjoys paediatrics and diagnostic conundrums!
Michael is available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Dr Charles Piao - Accepting NEW Patients
Charlie completed his medical degree and a Master of Pharmacology in Beijing before moving to Australia in 2004. Charlie completed his GP training in Australia, working in Sydney and rural regions of NSW, and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Charlie has also achived a post-graduate Diploma in Child Health through the Children's Hospital at Westmead. While Charlie enjoys all-round general medicine, he has a special interest in paediatrics, skin cancer and Travel Health. He has also been selected to act as an examiner of new GPs as part of the College's Fellowship program.

Dr Zinny McTackett - Accepting NEW Patients
Zinny is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked in General Practice in the local Newcastle area since 1997. Zinny has a special interest in Medical Acupuncture, especially in the management of chronic pain, and has completed post-graduate studies in the area. She is also interested in dermatology, women's health, paediatrics and chronic disease.
Zinny is available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and some Saturdays
Dr Sarah Philipson - Dr Philipson is currently on maternity leave
Sarah completed her Medical degree at the University of NSW in 2011 (graduating with Honours) and is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Sarah has a special interest in women's health, including reproductive and sexual health and is qualified to perform Mirena (IUD) insertions. Sarah also has a special interest in paediatrics and has completed a Diploma in Children's Health through Westmead Children's Hospital.

Dr Bonnie Lam - Accepting NEW Patients
Bonnie completed her Medical degree at the University of New South Wales (graduating with Distinction) in 2013. She is currently in her final year of General Practice training and enjoys the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and provide patient-centred holisitic care across the lifespan. Bonnie has a passion for preventative health and encouraging positive lifestyle changes to prevent disease. Bonnie is also currently competing a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney and Westmead CHildren's Hospital.

Dr Annaliese Wohlfahrt - Accepting NEW Patients
Annaliese completed her Medical degree at James Cook University (graduating with Distinction) in 2012. Annaliese is currently in her final year of General Practice training. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice medicine and particularly the opportunity for working in a team environment with patients, GP colleagues, nurses and specialist providers to ensure the best ongoing care and advocacy for her patients.

Dr Max Mollenkopf - Accepting NEW Patients
Max completed his Medical degree at the University of Wollongong in 2012 after completing a Physiotherapy degree at La Trobe University in 2008. Max worked as a rehabilitation physiotherapist in orthopedics for 18 months and since completing his medical degree has worked for 4 years in the hospital system. Max enjoys treating a wide range of conditions and the opportunity for community-based care and is now pursuing General Practice medicine as his chosen speciality. This is Max's first year of General Practice training.
